Format date and concatenate with string

I'm trying to use an expression box to display Due Date and concatencate label with the actual value.

However, I'm unable to format date to mm/dd/yyyy. Is there a format function that can be used in Expression box concatenated with another string?

     For eg: Due Date: 6/30/11

    Thanks

You can use msxsl:format-date().  This will only work on the client however.
