    Weired Problem

Hi I am in a kind of Weired Problem. I made a form in InfoPath 2010 and it has digital signature as well. Now when i sent the form to client, some of text's font changed automatically, and when the client tried to change the font size in designer mode, infoPath did not allow him. He can do everything (can bold the things, make italic things) but is unable to change font and font size. When we tried in our environment, it was working perfectly. our infopath version is same as well. (14.0.6112) Any help!!!! this is getting really annoying

Is your client trying to change the fonts for the form template of the already submitted and signed XML forms? The digital signature feature will preserve the original data of a form, and it may prevent an automatic upgrade but I am not sure. At any rate, you could try adding another view with the new fonts and see if switching to that shows a different size.

the client is trying to modify it in design mode, he can do everything in design mode as i told earlier but can not change the font size and font. And at my machine, the font is with right size but at client machine it becomes weiredly large and client is even unable to change the size in design mode....

I really have no idea. Check their Windows Display settings. Maybe the have large fonts or something, but that wouldn't explain this at all. It's just weird.

has it something to do with IE fonts??? I dont think so because client is trying to modify it in design mode (normal filler). What you say? what we thought earlier is that maybe due to version change it may causing a problem. but then we installed the same version as our client has and tried to reproduce the defect, but no problem at our site. As i stated earlier this is really weird problem.

InfoPath uses IE for rendering to the best of my understanding. In the past, I have seen on machines where the IE font size is set high the fonts are rendered in a larger size on the form - this was back on an IP 2003 form that I saw the issue, but it seems to me that it may be worth ruling out - it is a easy thing to check, after all. From the View menu (if your menu bar isn't showing, and you are using IE 9, hit the Alt key), select Text and change sizes. What happens to the form rendering? I just tried this on my Win 7 / IE 9 / IP 2010 machine and when I increased text size to Largest, the first items in my form used a much larger font than they were set to in design mode.
