Office 365 List changes using InfoPath - 'new' Data Connections don't seem to work?!?

    Hi

I wonder if people can checkout something for me please as it is driving me nuts. Has anyone found any problems with getting new Data Connections to work (save the document) when using an InfoPath modified document in a SharePoint List?

To give a bit of background, I have an instance of Office 365 within which there are a number of lists and libraries. As per the capability of Office 365 and also in an Enterprise enabled SharePoint 2010 site, I am able to use InfoPath to modify a list,, and make changes to the look / feel / format / layout and most importantly it allows me to control how the document saves and etc by allowing custom Action buttons.

In a normal SharePoint site where there are InfoPath based Form Libraries, I can modify the form, and add different Data Connections which allow saving the document in as many ways as I require and importantly I can add these as Actions to the buttons. Saving and Publishing the form then builds the form in the library, and allows users to add documents (either using the IP Filler or as a Browser form) using the Action buttons to save and manipulate the documents as I require.

In Office 365, if I edit a List using InfoPath, I can manipulate the format and again add different Data Connections to the form and include them in Action Buttons. And if I disable the normal ribbon bar functionality, I've got the level of control on the documents I need. However it appears as though if any Data Connection other than the default one (called Main Data Connection) is used, once I've buried a new connection in an Action Button, then no matter what I do, the document will not save - in other words the Data Connection doesn't work.

If anyone can check this out for me I would be very grateful, as all the information on the web I've come across states that this is a capability that should work. If it doesn't for me I'd like to try and figure out what is wrong,

I'm not a newbie in using IP 2010, and have built some pretty competent stuff in 'standard' IP and SP, but am being defeated in what I want to do by this situation. Any help would be pathetically well received as I'm about all in on this one!!

    Alan C.
