    Integrating InfoPath with Outlook

This might not be the right place to ask this question; but is there a way to sync up an InfoPath form library with Outlook calendars? Basically I have a form library that acts as a tasklist, the form populates columns in the SharePoint list, and then the SharePoint workflow sends different e-mails to different people based on that information.  The problem is these tasks don't show up in a persons calendar, since it's just a form in a library.  Is there a way to access a user's outlook calendar, or a way to add items to their calendar either via InfoPath or SharePoint?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

InfoPath and Outlook have very limited integration out of the box.  You can create email forms and submit forms via email as attachments or embedded, but thats about as far as it goes in terms of functionality.  I'm not aware of an easy way to integrate Outlook calendars into InfoPath, but maybe someone out there has found a way to do it :)  Sorry couldn't be more help.

Yeah, that's unfortunately what it seems like.  I'm really surprised they didn't seem to consider that; even from what I've seen in SharePoint they hardly have any real integration with the outlook calendar.  Anyway thanks for your response nonetheless, I just wanted to double check with a pro to make sure there wasn't some kind of awesome feature I didn't know about...

    Thanks,
