    Submitting form to the web service

    Hello, I created the InfoPath form to submit data. I did troubleshooting and I have the error below;

    There was an error in the incoming SOAP request packet: Client, LoginFailure, AccessDenied SOAP-1_2-ENV:Sendersqlsoapfaultcode:LoginFailuresqlsoapfaultcode:AccessDeniedThere was an error in the incoming SOAP request packet: Sender, LoginFailure, AccessDenied

    How can I fix this issue?

    Thanks

    Volmiro

    First thing is to check when exactly do you get this error? Do you get it on form load? Does it throw this error when clicking submit button? If you have data connections that connects to a web service, you'd also want to make sure that you have access to those web services. A log in failure error means you lack permissions.

    I created the infopath form and the webservice. I have access to the webservice. I get this error when I hit submit, it is a basic form with two fields, and I want to send it to sql database with webservice. It works with InfoPath, but not on browser. Yes, I have data connection, otherwise I can't submit it to db. I got this error from the uls logs, I understand the login failure, but the problem is it is working when you open it in InfoPath instead of browser!

    Hi, Volmiro:

    Is your SQL database hosted in a different server machine? If you're submitting from SharePoint hosted in http://abc.com and submitting to a different server, say, hosted in http://def.com, then that's cross domain. Otherwise, make sure that the user account you're using to submit from SharePoint has db reader and writer access to SQL.

    Hi Jo-Anne, It is in a different server machine. The user account has db reader and writer access to SQL. It might be a problem in SQL endpoint. I found some articles referred that it can be authentication issue, but I could not find any documented solution yet. Thank You
