    Infopath with visual studio 2005

    Hi all,
I've installed vs2005 team suite with team explorer to connect to server component. Together also Visual studio tools for office has been installed.

Have someone tried to convert an InfoPath project from VS2003 to VS2005?Is this easy or are there the usual problem of compatibility?

Do I need anything else to create a new InfoPath project with VS2005?

    Thank u.

Havent gotten to use VSTO 2005 with IP yet, but i read alot of threads in microsoft.public.infopath about other people who had problems after upgrading (the upgrade went fine but IP didnt run afterwards).

    Be sure to install Office/IP 2003 SP2

    Hi AndersR,
I tried to create a new InfoPath project in VSTS2005, but I see that after installing VSTO2005 there are Word or Excel project icons, but not InfoPath Project icons... I guess if I need something more.

    Hi,

Infopath is not include in VSTO you need to install Infopath 2003 for visual studio 2005

You can find the toolkit at: (for the moment he is only for english version of visual studio 2005)

    On your msdn subcsription download!

    or

Mail me I will send you! But I think if you have the office project you will have infopath template too! Possibly in the cd of the office toolkit!

Re: Infopath with visual studio 2005

I kept VS 2003 along with the new 2005 and discovered that regform stops working. This is apparently a known bug - seehttp://www.blogger.com/publish-comment.do?blogID=13992955&postID=113951903983748379&r=ok&mod=true
Not having an msdn subscription and not wanting to spend quite a lot of cash on VSTO I have had to do my regforming on another computer which does not have VS 2005 on it.

    Hi,

I have the same problem: I have installed the VS Team Edition for developers, however i don't see the InfoPath forms templates, i have also installed the Infopath Beta 2, i tried installing a software from the following link but it fails to install, here is the link:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=00779894-e95f-4b22-8590-07584c891207&DisplayLang=en

Also, can you tell me how can i develop InfoPath 2007 forms inside Visual Studio.
