Make the field Read Only after the e-mail is sent to the recipient

Hi All, Greetings....! Very Thanks, in advance to all. I have a workflow in my form which requires an approval. There are two roles say A, B. A has the provision to fill the name and e-mail address of A and B And clicks the button "Send e-mail". "Send e-mail" will sent the form to B. What actually I want ? 1. The recipient B should not be able to edit the details filled in by the sender A. (ie. Fields should be read only for the recipient) 2. Only A should be able to modify the values. (even after the form sent through the mail) Please provide me the solution with the conditions, rules, conditional formatting, etc.

You can have two sections that can be made visible only once the button gets clicked, which could be the button on click of which the mail is sent to respective people.

Then you can hide two sections based on user-login. Check the current user login and compare it with the user who is meant to edit the section controls. You ca use 'GetuserProfilesbyname' webservice to get this functionality implemented. If users are not identical, make the fields diable.

Let me know if you have some questions or concerns.

    Hi

Instead of checking the user that logs in, which might change later on, I'd add a field (Boolean) to the data source called "ReadOnly" with a default value of false.

In the rule that sends the email, set this field to "true".

In the form open rule, add a rule that will switch view to a read only view if the ReadOnly field is true.
