Hello

I am a bit new to Infopath so please forgive if the answer is obvious.

I have created a repeating table to collect server hardware information. I have put this repeating table inside a repeating section to allow the user to enter more than 1 server's info. The problem is that when the user inserts another section the repeating table "passes" the info in the repeating table to any other instances when values are changed. I need the values entered in the repeating table for Server1 to stay in that table and not update when the same table in a repeating section instance takes it's initial values.

I was able to avoid this behavior in another repeating section by using "text" fields within the repeating section. In this case, when a user decides to "insert" another section the text fields don't update the other repeating section instances.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Brian,
Welcome to the Forum!
You need add second repeating node as a child to the first one.
If you have already done that then Drop you first repeating section into the UI first and then add your second repeating section directly into the first one.
