Locking a Drop-Down Field Once Form has been Subbmitted

I created Form with a drop-down picker that runs a Few rules and populates some fields. Creates the form upon submit but when the user reopens the form to update some data he or she is able to then choose another Number from the picker thus changing all the info.  is there a way to lock the picker once the form has been submitted ?

    Hi-

I tend to add a "helper field", that is, a node in the schema which is not displayed in the canvas. Call it "IsNew", for example. It's default value is 1, but then you can switch it to 0 when the user submits. Based on that field, you can implement conditional formatting in your form, such as disabling the dropdown if IsNew = 0.

    Good luck!
