Convert infopath form to Excel programatically

    Hi,

I want to convert Infopath form 2010 to excel sheet using code .The idea is to have a button on infopath form and on clicking the button the infopath form data is stored into a excel sheet and the excel sheet is automatically saved to hard disk.

    Thanks .

There is functionality in InfoPath to save the form as an Excel file.  More info:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath-help/tips-for-getting-the-most-out-of-export-to-excel-HA001122791.aspx

I'm not aware of a way to do this programatically.

You can use the Excel ActiveX object to save in excel.

I use it and haven't had any problems.  If you use the ActiveX object, you will probably have to change the Security settings for local Intranet sites to allow the ActiveX object to run.
