I have created an InfoPath 2007 form with several data connections and rules. The form starts with one person but can be routed to up to 4 (depending on the level of approval needed). My options controlling the rules are:
"Process As Is" - submits to the Doc Library in SP2007
"Send Email Inquiry" - has a rule to submit the main form to the Doc Library in SP2007 then perform a switch which opens the Email View in InfoPath. The Email View has a rule set to send the email to person X with this view embedded in the email.
"Inquire of next level" - has rules based on where it should go next and sends the form as an attachment in an Outlook email.
The issue I am having is when person 1 says "Inquire of Next Level" person 2 gets an email with the InfoPath form as an attachment. If person 2 needs to "Send Email Inquiry" it is not opening the Email View (which has less data then the Main Form). It is embedding the Main Form into the email. Is there a way for the view to switch when the form is opened from Outlook?
