    Invalid Data problem

Im having a problem with referencing two fields ("offer" and "Balance" referencing to "Deficiency"). I have them set as a default value of @offer-@balance in the Deficiency field and if I check the "verify formula" box, it doesnt come back with any errors. The problem lies when I enter CENTS manually at the end of the dollar amount it makes red dotted lines around the box and will not submit. And error message shows with "form contains validation errors." It will not do this any other time. Only when I try to place .00, .23, .56, etc. in the field. Its a real hold up and I cant figure it out. Can someone please help..Thanks you

Are you saying the error occurs when you enter .00, etc. in the Deficiency box or elsewhere?  Where is the red box showing?  What is the datatype of each of those fields?

The error occurs in the "deficiency" box. The information (currency data) is populated in the "offer" - "balance" fields and the answer populates in the "deficiency field (just like a simple formula in Excel), which is where im getting the error message. I have the data type on all fields set to currency both on the database and the form. like i said, if I do not enter the .00, etc. it will not do it. I figure the problem has to lie somewhere in the value type specified in the "deficiency" field

Would you mind attaching your XSN to this thread so that we could see it?  If that's a problem, could you extract the form files and just attach the myschema.xsd file?

Just hit the Options tab when you reply, but I'm not sure a screenshot will be that much help if it's just reshowing what you've already described.
