HI,

How to set Tabbing in InfoPath forms?

I have a infopath form, which is accessed from Application page.

I have tried the below:

1) In infopath form, on the control, advanced -set tab index set to 1

2) Using javascript in the aspx page to set focus:

<script type=”text/javascript”>
   document.getElementById(‘field-id‘).focus();
</script>

However when the page is loaded, when i press tab, the cursor position is still on the address bar and not on the control.

In the form preview, the tab is getting set and not while page viewed from application page.

How to set tab?

Hi there,

The tab index in the control properties should be the way to go here.  Sounds like its broken in the browser for you?  What version of SP are you running?  What browser and version are you using that you are reproducing this problem in?

I am using a Publishing site. I am using SharePoint 2010 and InfoPath 2010. 

In the form - I have added the controls in the below manner:

I have a section added. Then inside it i have added a textbox. I have tried the same in IE 7, IE 8, Mozilla. Having the  same behavior
