Reply Contact Is there a way to apply conditional formatting when a specified field is valid (i.e. passes schema validation and has no red astericks or red outline)? I know this is possible in code, but was wondering if there was an easy expression for it in rules. If not, I think this would be a good addition to InfoPath.---------------Matt FausInfoPath Dev Texas Matt Faus / Microsoft InfoPath MVPQdabra® Software / Streamline data gathering to turn process into knowledge 02-16-2006 02:03 PM In reply to Agni Jonnalagadda Joined on 12-15-2004 India Posts 617 Re: Conditional Formatting - is valid ? Reply Contact Write a Method in the code which gets the nodename and checks if that node is present in the thisXDocument.Errors list.XDocument.Errors[<<<index>>>].Node will give you the node name. If it is present in the list then that node has validation errors. The method that you write above can be called in conditional formatting expression using "xdExtension".AgniINFOPATHdev India Agni / http://www.ggktech.com 02-20-2006 12:58 AM In reply to nukkumatti Joined on 12-08-2005 Germany Posts 349 Re: Conditional Formatting - is valid ?
