Pass data from one view to another

I have three views in my Infopath form.  After the user submits data in the first view, I want to open the second view (which I already can).  However, I cannot figure out how to pass data from first view to the second view.  For instance, I have an ID in the first view that is required in the second view to submit data,

How can I possibly pass data from the first view to the second?

    Thanks!

Hi- it isn't a matter of passing data from view to view - just add controls bound to the same fields.

So, you have a field in your main data source called "ID" - you can have as many controls as you like bound to that field, in as many views as you need. And when the value is updated, all the controls will show the correct value.

In your second view, just look for the field in the data source task pane, and drag it onto the form. Then preview, and you'll see what I mean.
