InfoPath Dev

 Hello,

 I have an Infopath 2010 form that uses a receive data connection to a WSS 3.0 document library, to display a summary of the submitted forms.  The repeating table includes a number of fields from the submitted form (Vendor, Date Submitted, Total) etc.  I would like to be able to include a hyperlink to open the actual form from this table.  Is this possible?  I can't figure it out.

 Ok so I partially hacked my way through doing this, by adding a column in WSS 3.0 to save the Encoded URL and using a workflow to populate that column.

Now I can add the EncodedURL field to the form, but my only option is to display it as a Hyperlink in the repeating table from the datasource.  I don't want to show the full path, I just want the user to be able to click one of the fields in a row to open the .XML form that the data is from.

To hide the URL you may want to try using an Image or plain text. You can add or build a link on the image (text) back to your item. You can even create a data source link, where you concat your library URL and bring in the form name using a data source. In my forms I allow users to update supporting data sources. I have an edit icon next to the field and use the hyperlink data souce to build the url. the user sees an image and the link works perfectly.

 Thank you very much for your suggestion.  That makes sense, but I don't think I can do that as my repeating table is bound directly to the secondary data source.  This means if I try to change the control type for "EncodedURL" to anything else all i can do is edit the XPath Binding.  I don't have the option to build a value.

I too have the same problem did you find a way out can you please brief me how you could do the EncodedURL and the workflow to populate the data 

 what does your secondary data source contain? I mean can you add to it? adding one more column or field may give you the data you need to build a url. also. based on the data in any given row item, you should be able to determine your url and populate a hidden field. when you create a link use the hidden field as your url source
