    QueryDB error with query builder

    I am trying to use the QueryDB web service with the query builder. I was able to use this on the default server and database. I would like to use the web service on a different sql server and database. I have added the following custom server and CMFCU database to the web.config:

     <servers>
        <server name="default" connectionString="Data Source=SQL-2\X64;Initial Catalog=;Integrated Security=True" />
        <server name="custom" connectionString="Data Source=SQL-1;Initial Catalog=;Integrated Security=True" />
        <!-- Define additional servers to easily switch database aliases from different environments -->
        <!-- NOTE: server name attribute must be unique within this list -->
        <!-- EXAMPLE: -->
        <!--<server name="PRODUCTIONSERVER" connectionString="Integrated Security=SSPI;data source=RemoteMachine\SqlServer"/>-->
        <!--<server name="TESTSERVER" connectionString="Integrated Security=SSPI;data source=RemoteMachine\SqlServer"/>-->
       </servers>
       <databases>
        <!-- DBXLDB is a predefined alias and does not need to be declared -->
        <!-- NOTE: alias attribute must be unique within this list -->
        <database alias="QdabraSamples" name="QdabraUtility" server="default" />
        <database alias="CMFCU" name="CMFCU" server="custom" />
        <!-- EXAMPLE: -->
        <!--<database alias="NameUsedInEnumDBCalls" name="ActualDatabaseNameOn_RemoteMachine_SqlServer" server="TESTSERVER"/>-->
       </databases>

     When I try to connect to the server and DB through query builder, I get the following errors:

    The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: DescribeDatabaseSchema
    InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
    The SOAP message cannot be parsed.

     --------

    A required data source is not available.

    ---------

    Could not determine the database schema.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: QueryDB error with query builder

    Could you post a screenshot of how you've filled out the top part of QueryBuilder?  I believe that QueryBuilder's ability to get the DB schema doesn't depend on how web.config is filled out, so I think that's a separate matter.

    I have attached a screenhot. I have also tried to use the alias "custom" for the server name as well with the same error.

    Could you verify that the service account DBXL is using (perhaps the host server's NETWORK SERVICE) has adequate permissions to query that server and database?
