I was wondering if there is a work around to be able to have paragraph breaks. I'm trying to have a resume field where someone will paste their resume into a text box and save it. I want it to display the same way when the resume is pulled up at a later time. Currently I'm able to query the resume to the text box but all the text shows up on one line instead of having carriage returns in the correct places. Any help would be appreciated. 02-01-2012 02:24 PM In reply to leoffneym Joined on 08-06-2010 Posts 81 Re: Question about multi-line text box Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I just tried to use a Rich Text Box and I got the same result with the text all staying on the same line. The line breaks that I saved showed up just as spaces. Have you done this before? Do you have a sample form I could see or a link where I can see where this is done? Reply Contact When you paste into the Rich Text Box, does it show up correctly? I am assuming that you are saving it and then retrieving it, and the retrieval is where the problem is. Do I have that correct? 02-07-2012 12:35 PM In reply to g21cincy Joined on 10-20-2008 Cincinnati, OH Posts 64 Re: Question about multi-line text box Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Yes the text shows up correctly when I paste it into the Rich Text Box. That is exactly correct. Would it make a different if I retrieved the data from a web service as opposed to using the code behind the button? Page 1 of 1 (7 items) Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
