    Conditional selection for locations

Hi, I've just started working with InfoPath so I'm have only developed very simple forms as yet. I would like to know how I can set up multiple drop-down boxes (or something similar) where by choosing the location in the 1st drop-down box, you then generate a selection for the second drop-down box. E.g. If you choose New York in the first box, you then get a choise of :The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island in the second box. If you choose Staten Island from the second drop-down box, you then get a choice of : St. George, Tompkinsville, Clifton, and Stapleton in the third box. I need to do this with 3 consecutive drop-down boxes. Your help would be very much appreciated. Cheers, Mil

    Hi Mil,

What you're looking for is called "cascading dropdowns". A Google search will yield a wealth of information, with different tutorials and methods. Here's one: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2004/03/24/create-dependent-drop-down-list-box-in-infopath-using-filters.aspx.

    Hope it helps!
