Passing ID from one form to another form

Im using InfoPath Designer 2010, SP 2010, and Infopath form Web Part. Here's the requirement...

I have a infopath form in Infopath form Web Part, published in SP 2010 server.....On that form, i have a field that generated unique ID.

Whenever user fills the form, unique ID is created for that form. I have hyperlink at the bottom that redirects me to another form, which is

also inside the Infopath form Web Part...How to pass that unique ID of Form 1 (which was auto generated) to Form 2, when user clicks on that hyperlink.

(Form 1 and Form 2 are related)

Any help, suggestions, ideas, resources will save my life...Thanks a lot in advance.

To get your info from one form to the other you could use input paramters. I'm sorry, but I don't know if managed code is allowed in form templates used in form web parts.

Here's a blog post on InfoPath input parameters: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2007/02/26/passing-data-into-a-form-input-parameters.aspx

If you don't want to write your own code, qRules can also do this - if managed code is allowed in form templates used in form web parts (so you may want to test that first....)
