    Send InfoPath Form from Excel

Hi, Is it possible to set up Excel so that, for example, clicking a command button can set up an InfoPath form with data from the workbook and send it to a SharePoint list?  Like sending an email but an InfoPath form instead so that SharePoint list can be updated.  Thank you.

(What I want to do is send data from an Excel workbook that cannot live in SharePoint to a SharePoint list using Outlook or InfoPath or whatever it takes. From there, setup workflow processes. There will be multiple workbooks sending the same type of data.)
