InfoPath Dev

Have a machine with InfoPath 2010 installed that cannot digitally sign a form.  When the digital signature dialog box appears where they would select their certificate, enter their name, and enter Purpose for signing this document

 All they see is the section to select their certificate and the sign button is greyed out.  When the cancel button is clicked InfoPath crashes.

 Is there some setting or registry change that needs to be done to correct this?  This is machine specific and as it works for others either using InfoPath 2007 or 2010.  The form template was created using InfoPath 2007 and we are running MOSS 2007 standard.

Hi. I have about 10 users who digitally sign a form. I'm having the exact same behavior you're describing with only 2 of those users. Those 2 users have had their PCs re-imaged and they are able to sign the form from a terminal server so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the signing cert or anything local to the PC. Really strange, I can't pinpoint what is causing this. Did you happen to ever figure out what was causing this and how to fix it?

Saw that KB2584066 causes the issue and KB2596555 fixes it, might try that.

Just to add to this.... I just had this exact same issue. Installing the hotfix fixed it.
