Repeating Filtered Drop Down Lists keep affecting first group

    (I'm learning)

I created three drop down boxes and tied it to one sharepoint list. (list of States, Cities and Zip Codes). Desiring to learn the Repeating functionality, I tried adding a Repeating Section and put my three boxes inside. What happens is, I can make my inital choices, select insert item and three new boxes appear, however when I make a selection, the original boxes are linked and they change too.

How can I make the new boxes unique so that they don't change the first boxes?

The problem you are having is that your initial drop down boxes are bound to non-repeating fields. You should look at your main data source - find your repeating group (that your repeating section is bound to). In the data source task pane, right click each of the fields that your drop down boxes are bound to, and select Move. Move the fields inside the repeating group in the data source task pane. Now when you insert a new instance of the repeating section, it will have its own instances of the fields that the drop down boxes are bound to.

Let me know if I haven't been clear enough and I'll try explaining again, okay?
