Hello all,
I have been designing market specific forms for my company for some time now, and I am almost at the very end of the process. Everything has gone well so far, but I am now trying to implement one final control before the form goes live. I wish to create a Save as Draft control along with my Submit button, so that if the form contains errors, the individual will be able to save the file to a directory within the main SharePoint directory (but obviously not the directory which the Submit button sends the form to) and will therefore not affect my Workflow. I have come across some posts about how I can create a Boolean Field, leaving it equal to either T/Fm depending on whether errors exist within the form, and then let the Save as Draft button come into effect if this field is equal to false. Unfortunately this approach will not work as I have now created 18 forms for each of the different markets which this firm operates in, and each of these forms contain approximately 80 controls. That is an awful lot of re-work.
What I need is code which may circumnavigate this issue. I have came across many individuals who have posted their own blocks of code, regarding how this code should look however seeing as I am not a coder (rather a Biomedical Engineer, long story, no time for telling) I have not been able to make any of it work.
For example, when I try to input the code from the following website, I receive all sorts of errors 'End of statement expected'; 'Syntex error'; etc.

I appreciate I am probably inputting it wrong, but without being a coder of any description, I am having real difficulty understanding how to make it work for my solution.
Sorry if this question has been answered before, I have searched and searched but have been unable to find an answer matching my competence regarding this.
All correspondences regarding this will be much appreciated and the more descriptive the better.
Michael
