Save & Close Buttons (in Ribbon) - InfoPath 2010

    Hello,

We are using SharePoint 2010 /w InfoPath 2010.

We have built a Browser Form where the user fills out form then submits the Form to SharePoint for processing.

The Submit Button appears only in the Form until submitted.

We have a big Save & Close button in the Ribbon at the top.

New users keep trying to Save on 1st instance instead of submitting it, causing problems with naming, workflow and correct location.

Is there anyway to configue a Save button to only appear after the form has been submitted.

It seems to be that the Save, Close at the top (in Ribbon) may only be turned off or on in the Form Options.

    Cheers,

    PAW

Not to my knowledge - This is a per template setting.

However, if your submit allows them to overwrite existing, just don't allow Save or Save As at all - you can add a Close button to your form that just closes as well.
