 im trying to prep my form so that its compatible as a browser enabled form I have 1 error left that i cant get rid - cant (querying access database is not allowed) i have tried to remove the data connection to the database but cant remove it.

i have uploaded my lists to sharepoint that i want to query add, remove data through the browser.

 im really stuck with this and would appriciate any help available

What happens when you try to remove the data connection? It isn't the main data connection, is it?

the remove button is not available to press so i guess it is the main connection !

 Also Im having problems publishing to a sharepoint site so that clients can access the form with Infopath on their own machines.

If it is the main data connection, you may just have to rebuild your form - I'll email the smart people I work with and see if any of them know of a way around that.

Would it be possible for me to send you the InfoPath form along with the required log in details for my SharePoint site (trail version Microsoft online services) would you or your colleagues be able to publish it to the site and configure it to open in InfoPath (users with InfoPath software) and as a (browser enabled form) for those who don’t have InfoPath software?

Well - you can certainly hire us to help with that - we do offer paid InfoPath support, and you can learn more about our services here.

However, the work is more complex than something I'd be able to help with ad hoc via the forum. I did get a reply to my email suggesting that it may be possible to remove the database dependency with manual modifications to the manifest of the template - you may want to save your form as source files and look through the manifest.xsf file - perhaps compare it to a new blank form and you'd be able to see a difference that you could modify to remove the database dependency. The other option that was suggested was to create a new template off the schema of the current template, copy over the views and rebind the items.

At that point, depending on the complexity of the template, it may truly be the easiest to just start over.
