Default number of rows in rrepeating tables???

In IP2010 you can go to the data tab - default values and selcte an node and add antoher row below. In this way you can have more than one row as default. And this works fine, but what if I want 1000 rows as default... I can't sit and click this way for 999 times???

Any suggestion to how to solve this?

Well, you can extract the form's source, open the template.xml in a text editor and use copy/paste to add as many rows as you want.

Alternatively, you could use qRules' Insert command to insert exactly as many rows as you want when the form loads.

But why on earth would you want 1000 rows in your form?  I think you're going to run into some performance issues that way.

It's exactly the performance I'm interested in testing.

My form will theoreticly cointain 35000 rows... so I was just interested in test what happens if someone adds that many rows. As crazy as it sounds...

Since I dont know to much about qRules... is this a "plugin" to InfoPath or is ti as an resource file you attach to each form?

     How does it work?

qRules is essentially a DLL that you inject into your InfoPath form templates (XSNs) to add extra features to them via managed code.  You send a command to this DLL by setting a value in a secondary data source (which is also injected), and qRules carries out the command.  One of these commands is the Insert command, which you can use to add an arbitrary number of rows to a repeating group like this:

    Insert /parent=/my:myFields/my:group1 /child=my:repeatingGroup /count=20000

I still think that adding 1000 rows, let alone 35,000, is crazy.  Perhaps there is a way to rework your design so that it doesn't require having so many rows of data in the form at once?

I totally agree... It's not me idea to have this many rows in one form. However I'm just here to make it work...

But I'm beginning to think that InfoPath may not be deigned for this at all.

Perhaps if you described your task with a bit more detail about what you're looking to accomplish, someone could propose a possible way to approach it?
