Hi Doreen,
You don't necesarily need to write any code to do this. You can just add rules and actions to set all of the fields in your form when the user clicks a button called Reset. It will take you some time to set these up (especially if you have a lot of fields), and you will have to do it separately for each form template you develop, but if it's just one form and you have less than 40 fields on the view, I'm guessing it will only take you 15-30 minutes to create the rules and actions to set these values to blank. When you set the fields, just leave the value blank, or you can set it to a default value if you want.
We get a lot of people who ask us about S.Y.M.'s techniques. Unfortunately, we can't support her site for free.
We'd be happy to show you how to do what she is describing, but we will need to be paid for our time. You can purchase a single support pack ($150) from Qdabra's web site and we will schedule an hour of time to help you do what she describes.
Thanks!
