InfoPath Dev

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to InfoPath and I have some problems with it so I Hope You'd Help.

First :I want to Know How to Set SelectedValue for Dropdownlist  in infopath form From  querystring ?

           i tried this issue with textbox and it runs correctly. but itis not running when I'm trying to do the same thing with dropdown list an this is the steps that i've done:

        - add InfoPath Form the page as Web Part

        - add URL Querystring Filter in the Page

        - Create Connection Between Filter and InfoPath Form

Second :I want to know how to build Sharepoint Form Liberary as Web Part so I can use it many times in my site ?

Hi Tamer,

1. You can add a rule when the form opens to select a value from a dropdown list. Just set the field bound to the dropdown to the value you want to select. Even if the dropdown list is a secondary data source, it should still work fine.

2. Have you tried adding a web part? It should support adding from a form library.

But i want the reverse operation,

1- I Already solved this one by adding hidden text box and pass the query string to it and set the dropdownlist value with the textbox value in form load

2- I tried this but it is not comming in list of forms i don't know why but may be I miss something

Sorry, but I don't understant your scenario. If you are setting an InfoPath form using a query string, you will need to use Input Parameters which requires code or qRules to access.
