    The selected fields data type cannot be edited in sharepoint

    While publishing the form, What are the data types that are supported in SharePoint for mapping the columns. i am trying to map date and multi line text and i am not able to map them and it is giving a warning msg "The selected fields data type cannot be edited in SharePoint " .

    How are you trying to "map" these fields to SharePoint?  Are you using a secondary data connection?

    Are you using a form library or SharePoint list form?

    No secondary data connection...and also I am using form library Thanks Karim

    Sorry, but I'm still unsure on how to answer your question.  Can you list out the steps you take before you reach this error message?
