I have created a expense setlment form in which the data source if from XML file and the template and form will be sending to the users in email by rendering the template adnf form as infopath type as mime,..... everything is working fine with Outlook2010. but facing the below issues..
1. Some times the integration issue happens after that both the files appear as attachment... Error message(Microsoft Outlook) Microsoft infopath is set to be the email editor however InfoPath is unavailable,not installed or a different version from outlook. The InfoPath Filler will be turned Off and the outlook email editor will be used instead.Try to repair the InfoPath isntallation and then turn on InfoPath as email editor again.
Remedy 1: Enable infopath forms in outlook options( by default it ll be enabled) after the issue checked it is selected only.
Remedy 2: reinstalled the Microsoft Office and worked properly like as earlier instead of showing attachments my form is rendering fine.. But i cant ask always my users to reinstall to check the form... Not suggested
2. When ever there is a change in the template I need to update the template which is with the user.
Background: Programmaticlaly generated XML file will be referring to the latest version at the time of sending email to the user but assume change is done after i sent to user now the user will be having the old version form... I need to update the same form.
Under Form options -- Versioning -- Update template - selected Automatically update the template , update existing forms Automatically upgrade existing forms.
Even though the above mentioned options selected the form is not getting updated.... When ever user sends the form back in email i ll be reading and if i found the version is outdated then email the new template to the user, then the both new template and old template will be in users inbox and when i open the form stillt he form is referring to old and not getting update.
3. To allow users to fill offline out of network i have choosen the security as Full trust and which needs to be certified and the certificate is generated by infopath is which is valid for only 2 months.
Remedy: I need to create a certificate which never expires.. but could not be able to do..
