InfoPath Dev

I have data that is being received from a SharePoint document library and displayed in a repeating section in InfoPath.  I need to be able to select a row in the repeating section and use that information to receive more information from the SharePoint document library.  Maybe the repeating section is not the way to do this.  I am open for suggestions.

Still not quite what I was looking for.  Let me see if I can explain a bit more.  1) user fills out a form that populates a document library

2)  user needs to modify one of these files

3) I have a data connection that retrieves the users data that is in the document library

4) using an InfoPath form with that data connection I want to present them a drop down list that has two of the data items - job number & description.

5) from that list i want them to select one and the retrieved data needs to show up

6) user modifies a couple of the data items

7) data is submitted back into the document library as a new form

When I tried the methods shown above, the secondary data connection (retieval) will not let me make it the master table.  so it cannot link to the repeating section.
