    Conditional Qrules for Client only

I have a form that I would like to run in the client and publish to a sharepoint library.

When running in the client, I want to use some commands that are not browser compatible.

can I make the rules conditional that the Environment = "Client" and still be able to publish to sharepoint?

I am trying to avoid having to create two form.

Unfortunately, the issue is that the code injected for Client forms includes specific event handlers that are not browser compatible.

Which commands were you wanting to use? Some of them require the non compatible event handlers - others simply check the environment.

Just to clarify, I would not want to use any of the commands when opening in a browser.

Insert with xpathsrc option  and SavetoPath.

If the rule never executes because the condition is not meet, can it be in the form?

Insert using xpathsrc is browser compatible.

SaveToPath is not going to be available in the dll injected into a browser compatible form, however.

So injecting the "Client" compatible dll with prevent you from creating a successful browser compatible form, even if you do not user any of the "browser incompatible" commands.

That is correct. This is because the client compatible DLL includes event handlers not permitted in browser forms.

Thanks, looks like I will need two forms.
