    qRules Trial

Hi, if I inject a form with the qRules trial, is it going to break once the trial expires, or will I just not be able to inject any other forms after the trial expires?

Once qRules expires, the qRules functionality in your form will stop working and you will need to inject the full version to resume using it.  The form itself will of course continue to work, except for the qRules functionality.

     Hi

When the trial expires, the commands become disabled and you won't be able to run them. You can, however, purchase and reinject qRules, and the commands will become available.

    Thanks!

Thanks Ernesto... will I have to rebuild any of my form lists or any qRules commands when i Re-Inject my form with the full version?

No. If you inject to a newer version (say you were using the v3.3 trial and injected to v3.4) a command could have a new parameter or a change in behavior. But, in general, this hasn't happened in the most recent versions and I don't believe any issues will arise from v3.3 to v3.4.

    Ernesto -

We just got our license squared away this week. I haven't downloaded the updated software yet but plan to today. For my existing forms, can I just update the qRules.xml resource file with the current version and then add the new dll to the exported files folder, save and then publish the form instead of using the injection tool? I have custom code written that I don't want to get messed up during the injection process.

Also, have you had success adding qRules to SharePoint Designer (2010) Workflow Task and are there any gotcha's I should look out for in doing this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Scott-

You should replace the QdabraRules.xml, QdabraRules.xsd and the DLL. Just to be sure, you should also replace the qRules DLL in the code project and rebuild the project.

I don't have experience regarding your second question, but I'll ask the team.

    Thanks.

     Hi Scott,

We're actually wondering what you meant by this.

Also, have you had success adding qRules to SharePoint Designer (2010) Workflow Task and are there any gotcha's I should look out for in doing this?

qRules is injected into InfoPath forms. Can you clarify the functionality you desire?

    Thanks.
