How do I get a separation between my paragraphs to show up when I post to this forum? All I get is one long paragraph even though I use the enter key when I'm typing it. I hit the enter key twice to put one line between the sentences above and this one but it does not show.

Test [ENTER]

Starts me on a new paragraph in the edit box. [ENTER]

Test2 [SHIFT+ENTER]
Starts me on the next line [ENTER]

Ends me here.

Not sure - my post above used the Enter key usage as I displayed in [].

Maybe it's the browser you are using? For me, all my replies auto being with a space at the start I have to delete.

I'm using Firefox.

I'm using Google Chrome. [ENTER] So it may be that. [Shift+ENTER] But when I do these I just move down to the next line. [ENTER][ENTER] And this moves me down two lines. As I see it.

It is interesting - if I try to edit your post, and look at the HTML, there are no paragraph tags.

I use IE 9 - it has a compatibility view that sometimes helps certain sites behave better - does Google Chrome have any options like that?

I'm trying IE 8 right now to see if that makes a difference.[ENTER]

Now I see the two line change as Skarn descibes.[Shift+ENTER]
What is strange though is that I wrote a post in MS Word and pasted into a post in the IP2010 forum using IE 8 and it did not show any breaks except one that was added after the paste. So I edited it and it took two trys to get all the breaks to show.[ENTER]

So it looks like I should use IE for posting here.[ENTER]

If anyone know of why Chrome does this and if there is a fix I would sure like to know!

I find that copying / pasting from Word creates nightmarish HTML - which may have been your issue there. If for some reason you don't wish to compose your post in the browser, I'd use a simple text editor.
