My browser-enabled Infopath form retrieves a DataSet from sql-server through a webservice, and submits it back to the sql-server through the webservice. This works fine when the form is running in Infopath preview, but when running in browser, the submitted Dataset is empty. Retrieving the DataSet, and submitting strings works fine, but the DataSet object has zero tables when submitting in browser.
I'm not using UDC file, and Database is using pass-through autentication, but I dont suspect that to be the problem since retrieving the Dataset and submitting strings works fine. Is there some special security for submitting DataSets?
Here are the two webservice functions:
WebMethod(Description = "Retrieve a DataSet from table.", MessageName = "GetDBData")]
publicDataSet GetDBData()
WebMethod(Description = "Using the submitted DataSet, update a database.", MessageName ="UpdateDBData-Dynamic")]
publicvoid UpdateDBDataDynamic(string AnsattID, string Fornavn, string Etternavn, string Stillingstittel, string Kontorlokasjon,
DataSet updatedDBDataSet)
Is is not possible to submit ADO.NET DataSet when running Infopath forms in browser?
