Linking to browser based infopath form from another form

I am trying to determine the most effective way to create links from forms in one library to related forms in another library.  Basically I have a DDL in form 2 that contains the names of all of the forms in 1.  Based on the selection of a form from that list I would like to generate a hyperlink back to form 1.  Currently I am doing this by making sure that form 1 is saved using a remotely URL friendly and unique name, and then creating 3 separate text fields:

1 - holds the first part of the form URL

2 - holds the last part of the form URL

3 - is the name of the form 1 to be linked to

I concatenate those fields into a single hyperlink.  I am just curious if there is a way to retrieve the form 1 URL from SharePoint as opposed to manually generating it.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

If you have SharePoint 2010, I'd think the OData service would return this information. I don't know that a normal InfoPath list connection exposes that, howwever.
