    Custom Emails using Infopath 2010

    Hello All,

I am using infopath 2010 and sharepoint 2010, I am looking to be able to send form data on final submit of the form not only to a sharepoint library but also as an email. I am able to do this, but it embeds the form into the email. We are using another program that reads the body of certain emails and looks for specific text and pulls that data into that program. What I need to do is submit infopath fields into the body of an email that is in plain text.

    Example:

    From: [email protected]
    To: [email protected]
    Subject: Infopath Form
    Body:

    Submitted data below:

    {Firstname} John
    {Lastname} Doe
    {Phone} 123456789
    .....
    .....

Our program would read looks at {Firstname} and then reads the data after that and pulls it into the program. If anyone has any ideas it would be great.

You don't have to send the form as an attachment in the email. Just switch the data connection to (as shown in the attached screenshot) and clean up the view to make it look as clean as possible. Good luck!

I have already done that and removed all additional formatting from the page. I need the email sent to be formatted in plain text rather than html. The html/css code interferes with the application.
