How to Reconfigure existing installation to use a different web application?

I installed and configured version 2.5 on our development server on a sharepoint application that uses port 80.  I'd like to configure it to use use https instead now and I can't get it to work.  I tried un-installing and re-installing.  The event log shows:

    "Error bootstrapping system doctypes

Call to BoostrapSystemDocumentTypes failed. encountered a critical error and needs attention."

    Hi-

In one of the first screens of the DBXL installer, there is a dropdown with a list of sites. Can you attach a screenshot of that screen so that we can see the list of available sites? Sometimes this error comes up when the incorrect site is selected.

Another possibility: the host name field entered into the DBXL installer should match the SSL certificate.  Let us know if this is a fully qualified domain name, so we can provide guidance on that.

Please also check if the Qdabra eventvwr has any additional details that may help us.

    Thank you.

The ceritificate shows the FQDN.  Would it be easier to just issue the certificate without the FQDN info?

I figured out the issue.  Just in case anyone else runs into this issue.

The server name on my installation showed:  http://sharepointservername:1234

The binding defaulted to the same http://sharepointservername:1234

However, the certificate was issued to sharepointservername.domain.com

When I changed the binding in the Qdabra install wizard to sharepointservername.domain.com:1234 it worked.
