I am inserting a repeating section in my form that contains 3 drop down list (drop down list A ,B, C) and a text box field below.  Currently  when I click Drop down list  A  certain result appear in drop down list B appears acording to my data filters and then drop down list C  filters down to what ever is selected in B. When I select a item in list C it appears in the text box field below which is good. My problem is when I go insert a reapeted section the same fieds appear which is great but...... Whater I ever I slect in list C.....  it chanages the items that appear in both text boxes in each section. Is there a way where I can make the results that appear in the text box not conflict with what is being selected in the other section?  Maybe I have to add a rule or condition? If so how would I do this? I am new to infopath. Also my form is connected to a sharepoint list.

Hi Dave,

This has been a fairly common query in the forum and you should be able to find a lot of related threads. You're going to want to use the current() function in your xpath filter to make sure it selects based on the current row of your repeating table. Good luck!

yea i decided to scrap this idea and use a repeating table..... I just made some rules and it work perfectly. Thx for the help
