I have a form which links to a sharepoint library.

If i have a section with a tick box and text box, how can i get infopath to email me the contents of the text box once the form has been submitted? (Only needs to be emailed if the option has been ticked and the text box has ben filled.)

Hi Bashira,

1. Double click on button.
2. Click on “Rules” button in button properties.
3. Set the condition as tick box and text box fields are not blank.
4. Click on “Add Action” button.
5. Select “Submit using a data connection” value from “Action” dropdown.
6. Click on “Add” button and an e-mail data connection.
7. Preview the form.

Only email will be send if the option has been ticked and the text box has been filled based on above condtion.
