    UpdateListItems failure... for non-administrators??

    Hi,

Infopath has been my buddy for a few months now - but the past few days I can't get rid of this bug!!

I have a form deployed on a site that uses CAML + UpdateListItems web service to create new entries in a custom list on the same site. When I submit the form, it works flawlessly... but I am a site collection admin.

When users try - whether they have design/contribute/full control - doesnt matter, same result - it fails. Their permission is set on the site, the library holding the form, and the target custom list.

No errors are generated by the form, it thinks everything works fine.

The users can submit new items to the list via Sharepoint just fine!

Seems that the failure is somewhere in the web service... but why would FullControl (all boxes checked!) permissions not work... and site collection admin work??  I have used the same methods on other site collections and they work fine :(

     HELP!
