    Hello,

Can you please post the solution...I am using the following code on the hyperlink control:

    concat("file://systemname/c$/",@FileAttachments)

    where @FileAttachments = abc.pdf file

The hyperlink does not open this pdf file.
Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated...

    Hi,

sorry should have posted it anyway.

Ok in my case I use

file://pccp683(which is my pc, so the systemname)/C$/temp

and it works fine. So temp is only a folder.
I also tried it with test.doc at the end and it also opens the word document. I don't use the concat cos my file string consits of two different string which change for every request to I put them together to one string, write them in another textfield and use that textfield as datasource for the hyperlink.
As more as I think about I may be could have solved it in a better way but it works now and I won't change it again :)

May be you should also try it with a static test link first.

    Hope that helps
