I am new to IP and have to create a incident tracker form. I have a student SP list with first name and last name and photo  that is a hyperlink pointing to a photo library.

When the user selects the student in the form from a drop down i wanted to change the photo on the form to that selected student.

Any help would be appreciated. I am not a programmer

I have the form done but when i select the student the image field just changes to the photo ID (1, 2, 3, 4, etc)

Place each picture in its own section.

You can then conditionally hide each section depending on which option you choose from the dropdown menu.

in short words explained you can define an action rule for your drop down box where you concatenate the url for the appropriate picture and set this expression as hyperlinkDataSource for the picture control. Please have a look at:
