    Hello, i have an issue with the installation process.

    After initial installation in Windows Server 2003 + SQL 2005 Express without sharepoint and following the instructions to verify that the system has been installed correctly, I can open the DAT but I observe that the "System Document Types" was not created.

    Reviewing the Event VIewer in server, I found the following error in the installation process.
     

    Error deploying sample 'QdStandaloneDashboard' encountered a critical error and needs attention:

    System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'dbo.QdStandaloneLogDocs'.

    Hi jcsaavedra, this error shown in the eventlog is a known issue in the trial version and only affects the DBXL Client dashboard form.

    It sounds like you are just not seeing the system document types because they are by default collapsed.  There is a triangle on the right-side of the "System Document Types" bar.  Clicking on that will expand the list.

    If that isn't your issue, it would indicate that you are not being recognized as a DBXL Administrator.  Only those document types you have permissions to edit will show in the list.

    An updated DBXL v2.5 trial is available for download on www.qdabra.com.  This update corrects the error that was appearing in the logs after installation.
