Is it posible to provide the filename prior to calling this command? Also, what happens if the file already exists on the site? Can I use the same logic of providing the filename to the attribute of the attachment field?Thank you!Scott Filed under: qrules, SaveToSharePoint, file attachment, infopath 2010 09-29-2011 03:07 AM In reply to ErnestoM Joined on 08-27-2007 Posts 3,320 Re: SaveToSharePoint - Update filename or set filename prior to saving to SharePoint Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Scott,Starting with qRules v3.3, the command has the ability to specify a filename via the /name parameter. There is also an /overwrite parameter to allow you to control overwrites. Can you try out these parameters and let us know if they work for your scenario? Thanks! Reply Contact Thanks Ernesto. I'm actually not able to get that far just yet. I was able to get this to work on a blank form in to test out qRules. This morning I injected qRules into my production form and performed the same steps with no success. I follow the instructions step by step. I added Result, Success, and Error to my form to see what's going on. Nothing happens when I click the button which has an Action to set a fields value set to the Command node : SaveToSharePoint /url=http://sp2010srv/sites/pps/WZDocLib /xpath=/my:PPS_Fields/my:grpMain/my:grpProcedureDocumentWorking/my:b64ProcedureDocumentWorking Any thoughts to start troubleshooting? It seems like the it is not even getting executed. Thank you in advance! Reply Contact If the Result, Error and Success fields are showing nothing, then the command is not executing. Is this happening in the client or the browser? If in the browser, make sure to change the PostBack settings of the control to Always. Reply Contact Ernesto - The form is browser enabled. I guess when I tested it yesterday it was in "Preview" mode. Doh. I'm not sure which control you are referring to make the post-back set to "Always", the Button where the Action is set? Thanks!Scott 09-29-2011 11:48 AM In reply to ErnestoM Joined on 08-27-2007 Posts 3,320 Re: SaveToSharePoint - Update filename or set filename prior to saving to SharePoint Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact In your case, it sounds like the button is calling the qRules command. In general, you want to set Properties > Postback to Always for any control that has a rule that calls a qRules command. Hope that solves it. Let us know. Thanks!
