Add a Button on browser-enabled forms that performs the "Save" functionality in the Ribbon

I want to be able to save the existing form but perform some additional updates like when the form is "Saved" using the Save button in the Ribbon. I'd like to add some rules to the button and then possibly Save it in code. Is there a better way to do this than creating a "Submit" Data Connection? I have to get the Filename correct and set the form library to overwrite instead of creating a new entry.

Also, is there a way to redirect the user to different page than the Source in the URL string? Thanks! Scott
