Hi,

general question. for my project it is essential that users can fill out the form even offline. good thing is that infopath supports that option in general. unfortunately some information in the document come form querying ActiveDirectory or a web service is used as a secondary data source. these things won't work in offline status.
So i would like to know if there is a way to get the current status of an infopath document to realize a workaround for services not available offline.

You could do this in code by using the Application.MachineOnlineState property, and query the secondary data source programatically only if the user is connected.
