Dropdown list to control data in another dropdown list

    Hi,

From my subject, that prolly sounds confusing but what I am trying to do, if it is possible, is when the user chooses a specific value in one dropdown list then another dropdown list would load a data source bassed on the value form the first dropdown list.  I added a rule with a condition that states if "dropdown list" equals "TX" then querry "test" datasource which is from a seperate xml file.  Subsequently, that did not work and I get the felling that rules won't apply until the user actually submits the form.

    So is this possible?

    Thank you,
    Ynygma

     Hi!

Here's a simple solution: multiple dropdowns.

So you have dropdown1. Then you have dropdownA, dropdownB and dropdownC.

If the user selects dropdown1= value A, then show dropdownA (and hide the others).

If the user selects dropdown1= value B, then show dropdownB (and hide the others).

    Etc.

Does that make sense? Good luck!
