How to create a save button?

I have disable the "save" and "save as" in tools bar. But I want create a button to save file to the original path after user modify the file. Could you tell me how to create the button with JS or VBS or C+ or some other way ?

If you are saving your form to SharePoint, SQL or a Web Service, just add a button to your form and configure it to Submit to your SharePoint site. It will require the form is valid to submit. To let them save the form even when required fields are missing, you can use qRules ClearErrors command on the button rules to override (but don't forget to get the errors back on open).

If you want something that saves to a local directory - that will require full trust. I don't recommend doing that. It's not worth the trouble. But, if you must, you just need to add a function that calls the Save method. Your button can then call this method via rules (trick to do this is set the call in the condition of the rule).

    Thanks for your answer.

The file is saved in SharePoint 2010 Fundation but without form service, I want use the form to deploy workflow. Is that a good way to use infopath ?

I have try to use "Submit using a data connection" on a button, but the result is save as a new file, I also try to use the code "thisXDocument.Save()", but the result is same. I want keep the version, so I need just save the file. Is any other way to save the file?

Are you using a formula for the name of your file? Maybe it's always evaluating to a new filename and not doing the overwrite.
